NB: FUFA's Executive Committee awarded Villa the league title following
matches on Sep 4; FUFA president Denis Obua was unhappy with this
decision and set up a new committee.
A later committee set up by the National Sports Council published
findings so damning to FUFA that they decided to ignore it.
On Jan 8, 2004, FUFA announced SC Villa (who had already been
registered for the African Champions League in December) were
    indeed 2003 league champions.

Akol showed up with only 9 players, some of them ineligible; a match

at half-time; awarded 2-0 on Sep 9, following an investigation
of incidents before the match (a bus with Akol players stopping
before reaching the match venue, apparently after Express (who had
an interest in preventing Akol from playing and so restricting
Villa to a 2-0 win) induced the bus driver and some players not
to reach the venue; the Akol team split into two groups, one
reaching the stadium and one going off to another destination)]
